Maleah Boisture – Marketing Director
I am Maleah Boisture, the Marketing Director at Calumet Trace Senior Living. I am from a small town in McLean County called Sacramento, KY and an alumni from McLean County High School.
I have been in the senior living industry for over 9 years. I started my career as a caregiver during my undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University. While attending Western Kentucky University, I received my bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration with a focus in Geriatrics. I am pursuing a master’s degree and currently enrolled in the Executive Master of Health Administration (EMHA) program at Western Kentucky University.
During my time in senior living, I have had the opportunity to “wear many hats” however, working in the marketing department is my passion. I get to work closely with seniors and their loved ones to build a relationship. The senior living journey can be very overwhelming, and it brings me joy to see the seniors and loved ones happy with the decision they made.
Outside of my career, I enjoy spending time with my family and raising my two-year-old son, Emmett.
Cara Thomas – Director of Health and Wellness
My name is Cara Thomas, and I am the Director of Health and Wellness at Calumet Trace Senior Living. I am from Lewisport, KY, and graduated from Hancock County High School. My career in healthcare began as a CNA while attending Kentucky Tech Vocational School where I obtained my Licensed Practical Nursing degree. Since the start of my career, I have had 24 years of experience working in management and assisting the senior population in a variety of ways.
Serving seniors is my passion. Helen Keller once said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” Seniors bring me joy and I cherish the relationships I have made throughout the years. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones as we start this new chapter together.
Lindsay McQuady – Business Office Manager
My name is Lindsay McQuady, and I am the Business Office Manager at Calumet Trace Senior Living. I grew up in Ohio County, KY where I still reside in Hartford with my 2 sons. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. From a young child, I have always had a passion for helping seniors and I can’t imagine doing anything else! I have about 18 years of Long-Term Care experience, beginning with working as a nurse’s aide in 2006 and obtaining my administrator’s license in 2019. I have been a Business Office Manager for many years predominately working in skilled nursing facilities handling Medicare, Medicaid and insurance billing. I find great joy in being able to help the residents financially cover their care so they can have the peace of mind to focus on their health and enjoy their life without that added stress. As the Business Office Manager at Calumet Trace, I will be handling accounts payable and receivables, along with human resources and payroll. I am excited to continue to help the senior community and also help build a company culture where people love to work!
